We are a small boutique breeder of Ragdoll cats located on the Hamakua Coast on Hawaii Island. We have been in business since the spring of 2011, raising healthy, confident, playful, blue eyed beauties. Recently we have expanded our line to include the stunning mink lines.
Ragdolls are remarkable family members and are often called either "floppy cats" or dog-cats for their unique behavior.
We have a closed cattery which means we do not bring cats on to our property nor do we allow visitors in the cattery itself for the health of the cats and kittens.
We reserve the right to choose not to let a kitten go to a place or an environment we do not think will be in the best interests of that kitten. All homes are subject to our approval.
Our kittens are highly socialized including interacting with our pet Ragdolls and our dogs.
Your kitten will have a complete vet check, its first shots, desexed, dewormed and defleaed before it is allowed to leave at 12 weeks old.

What is a Ragdoll?
Ragdolls are well behaved, and easy to care for – perfect for our modern, busy, lifestyles. They are large,docile, "floppy" semi longhaired cats with gorgeous blue eyes. They are what is called a pointed breed, which means that the body is lighter in color than the face, legs, tail and ears ( the points).
They are considered a large cat amongst the domestic felines, just slightly smaller than Maine Coons. Neutered males typically weigh between 15-20 pounds with females weighing around 10-15 pounds as adults. One of the interesting things about Ragdolls is that they are slow to mature and don't reach their full size until they are between 3 1/2 to 4 years old. Likewise, their coats don't gain their full color until they are at least 2 years old.
Ragdoll are known for their very sociable and outgoing personalities. They will run to greet you when you come home, follow you from room to room, (don't expect to have any privacy), flop on you, insist on sleeping on your bed with you. They even come when you call and will play fetch. They are like a dog in cat clothing.
Ragdolls have another great quality: most people with cat allergies are not allergic to Ragdolls.
If there is a drawback to a Raggie, it is that they are overly trusting and will run up to strangers, including strange dogs putting them at great risk if outdoors. For this reason, Ragdolls must be indoor only cats unless under close supervision by their owners, like on a leash (yes, they can be leash trained) or in an enclosed pet pram.
They are sweet, gentle cats, and typically play without extending their claws. They tend to be "floor" cats, meaning they are not jumpers. There are exceptions to this rule, but they are few. Their coats are soft and silky, requiring little grooming to keep it looking its best. They rarely knot up, although in the spring when they are throwing their winter coats, they will sometimes get knots under their bellies if they are not brushed with a stiff bristle brush or metal comb. They also love to be brushed so maintaining their coats becomes a great way to bond with your kitty.
